Terchen (Tib. གཏེར་ཆེན་, Wyl. gter chen) — tertöns who have revealed termas from all three cycles of the Great Compassionate One, Lama Guru Rinpoche, and Dzogchen are given the honorific name terchen or 'great' (chen) 'tertön' (ter).
