Dakpo Kagyü (Tib. དྭགས་པོ་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་, Wyl. dwags po bka' brgyud) — one of the Kagyü schools founded by Milarepa's main disciple, Gampopa, aka Dakpo Lharjé (1079-1173). He brought together the Drupgyü lineage of teachings as he received them from Milarepa and the Kadampa lineage, thus founding the Dakpo Kagyü school which bares his name. This school was later subdivided into four sub-schools by his four main disciples (see Kagyü).
