Seven kinds of cognition (Wyl. blo rig bdun) said to have been introduced into Tibetan epistemology by Chapa Chökyi Sengé:
- direct perception (mngon sum)
- inference (rjes dpag)
- subsequent cognition (bcad shes)
- correct assumption (yid dpyod)
- inattentive cognition (snang la ma nges)
- doubt (the tshom)
- false cognition (log shes)
