Dekyong Yeshe Wangmo
Dekyong Yeshe Wangmo, the first daughter of Dudjom Rinpoche and Sangyum Rigzin Wangmo, was recognized as an incarnate dakini and was believed to be an emanation of Yeshe Tsogyal. She died when she was a baby. It was said that since her birth, she had no shadow, which meant she had fully attained the rainbow body while in the flesh, and that she also displayed many miraculous signs. All who saw her felt great devotion. She was the elder sister of Chimey Wangmo, Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche and Tsering Penzom.
Dudjom Rinpoche composed a famous prayer of aspiration to be reborn on the Copper Coloured Mountain of Glory entitled A Joyful Chariot for the Fortunate, after Dekyong Yeshe Wangmo, had left this world. The inspiration for the prayer, it is said, was therefore her parting gift.
