Eight types of pratimoksha vows (Tib. སོ་ཐར་གྱི་སྡོམ་པ་བརྒྱད་, sotar gyi dompa gyé, Wyl. so thar gyi sdom pa brgyad) are the seven types of pratimoksha vows, plus the one day lay vows.
