Four actions which generate the merit of Brahma in this lifetime (Tib. ཚེ་འདིར་ཚངས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་སྐྱེད་པའི་ལས་, Wyl. tshe 'dir tshangs pa'i bsod nams skyed pa'i las) —
- to build a stupa of the tathagatas in a place where one did not previously exist
- to offer a pleasure grove or temple to the sangha of the four directions
- to reconcile a schism among the shravaka disciples of the Buddha
- to cultivate boundless loving kindness
