Four actions which generate the merit of Brahma in this lifetime (Tib. tshe 'dir tshangs pa'i bsod nams skyed pa'i las)

• 1. to build a stupa of the tathagatas in a place where one did not previously exist
• 2. to offer a pleasure grove or temple to the sangha of the four directions
• 3. to reconcile a schism among the shravaka disciples of the Buddha
• 4. to cultivate boundless loving kindness
