Great rays of light empowerment (Tib. འོད་ཟེར་ཆེན་པོའི་དབང་, Wyl. 'od zer chen po'i dbang) — according to the Sutrayana, when a bodhisattva is about to become a Buddha, light rays emanate from between the eyes of the myriad tathagatas of the ten directions and vanish into the bodhisattva's crown, and buddhahood is attained.
