Karma Gön (Tib. ཀརྨ་དགོན་, Wyl. karma dgon) — one of the main monasteries of the Karma Kagyü tradition founded in 1184 by the First Karmapa, Düsum Khyenpa (1110-1193), near Chamdo, Kham. The First Karmapa gave it the name of the enlightened speech mandala of Chakrasamvara, ‘og min sa spyod gsung gi gden sa. Karma Gön was also the main seat of the first eight Tai Situpas.
