དེ་ཀུན་གཞན་བདེ་འདོད་ལས་བྱུང༌། །

དེ་ཀུན་རང་བདེ་འདོད་ལས་བྱུང༌། །

Whatever joy there is in this world,
All comes from wanting others to be happy.
Whatever suffering there is in this world,
All comes from wanting oneself to be happy.
