Rigpa Tibetan Wall Calendar

The Rigpa Tibetan Wall Calendar features Tibetan lunar dates as well as their corresponding western dates. The main feature each year are reproductions of Tibetan thangkas which are part of the collection housed in the temple at Lerab Ling.

History

• 2013-2014 Water Snake year 2140 features a series of thangkas depicting the 17 Nalanda Masters and the Prayer to Kindle the Three Kinds of Faith by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
• 2012-2013 Water Dragon year 2139 features a series of thangkas depicting the Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche
• 2011-2012 Iron Rabbit year 2138 features a series of thangkas depicting the lineage masters of the the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism
• 2010-2011 Iron Tiger year 2137 features a series of thangkas depicting the Life of the Buddha
