'''Sönam Tsemo''' (Tib. བསོད་ནམས་རྩེ་མོ་, [[Wyl.]] ''bsod nams rtse mo'') (1142-1182) was one of the [[five Sakya patriarchs|five patriarchs of the Sakya]] school, and the author of a famous commentary on the ''[[Bodhicharyavatara]]''. He was a direct student of [[Chapa Chökyi Sengé]] (1109-1169) and based his commentary on his teacher’s own commentary.
