'''Shechen Rabjam Tenpé Gyaltsen''' (Tib. ཞེ་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་, [[Wyl.]] ''zhe chen rab 'byams bstan pa'i rgyal mtshan'') (1650-1704) — the first Shechen Rabjam. He was an emanation of Buddha [[Ashoka]] (Wyl. ''mya ngan med''), Acharya [[Humkara]], Drokben Lotsawa [[Ngok Lekpé Sherab]] and others. He studied logic and philosophy extensively and gained the title [[Rabjampa]]. He met [[Dzogchen Pema Rigdzin]] at [[Yerpa]] and received from him the [[Nyingtik]] teachings. He went to [[Kham]] together with the first Pönlop [[Namkha Ösal]]. His main student was Hor Lama Pema Wangchuk.
