It was revealed at a later date than the the long, elaborate [[sadhana]] of ‘[[The Profound Instruction of Tendrel Nyesel]]’ which is the original terma revelation, and was deciphered at the request of [[Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö]]. 

There is also another later revelation which is '[[The Medium Length Practice of Tendrel Nyesel]]'.
