''Kāvyādarśa'', Tib. ཉན་ངག་མེ་ལོང་, ''nyen ngak melong'', [[Wyl.]] ''snyan ngag me long'') — an important treatise on the theory of Sanskrit poetics (one of the [[five minor sciences]]), written by the Indian [[pandita]] Dandin (Skt. Daṇḍin) (c. 6-7th century). It was introduced to Tibetan scholars in the 1220s by [[Sakya Pandita]] and thus served as the standard guide for the literary composition of poetry, philosophy, biography and letter writing. Mipham Gelek Namgyal and [[Mipham Rinpoche]] wrote commentaries to this text.
