The two stages of the path (Tib. རིམ་པ་གཉིས་, rimpa nyi, Wyl. rim pa gnyis) according to Mahayoga are:
- the path of skilful means (Wyl. thabs lam) and
- the path of liberation (Wyl. grol lam).
