Amarakosha (Skt. Amarakośa; Tib. འཆི་མེད་མཛོད་, Wyl. chi med mdzod) — a thesaurus of Sanskrit written by the ancient Indian scholar Amarasingha. It is the oldest extant work of its kind and there have been numerous commentaries. It has found its way into the Tibetan Tengyur and is the source of a famous verse listing all the epithets of Buddha Shakyamuni.
