Buddhas of the five families (Wyl. rgyal ba rigs lnga) - the five peaceful buddhas of the sambhogakaya:
- Vairochana (Buddha family)
- Akshobhya (Vajra family)
- Ratnasambhava (Ratna family)
- Amitabha (Padma family)
- Amoghasiddhi (Karma family).
They can be in union with the five female buddhas.
