Dodrupchen Rinpoche and Sogyal Rinpoche perform the ceremony for the dead at Chateau de Cassan

Chateau de Cassan 1991Rigpa's summer retreat near Beziers in France, from 1st—18th August 1991 with Kyabjé Dodrupchen Rinpoche and Sogyal Rinpoche.

On this retreat, Dodrupchen Rinpoche gave the empowerments of Sangye Menla, Takhyung Barwa, the long life practices of Rigdzin Düpa, the Longchen Nyingtik Phowa, the Shyitro of Karma Lingpa, Longchen Nyingtik Vajrasattva and Amitabha.

It was during this retreat that Dodrupchen Rinpoche visited L'Engayresque, the site of the future centre of Lerab Ling and blessed the land.
