Dharmapa, 'Doctrine' (19th c.), was a direct disciple of Dudjom Lingpa.

In a vision, Dudjom Lingpa was told by Yeshe Tsogyal that Dharmapa was a reincarnation of Sengé Gyatso, himself a student of Trengpo Tertön Sherab Özer (1518-1572/84).[1] Dharmapa was also a reincarnation of Pema Ozer, Lotus Light Rays, a direct student of Rigdzin Düddul Dorje (1615-1672), a previous incarnation of Dudjom Lingpa.[2] Dharmapa requested Dudjom Lingpa to transcribe a sadhana of Tröma Nakmo.[3]
