Geshe Tashi Tsering (b.1958) holds the Geshe Lharampa degree from Sera Mé Monastic University in South India. Since 1994 Geshe Tashi has been based at Jamyang Buddhist Centre in London. In March 2018 The Fourtheenth Dalai Lama asked Geshe Tazhi Tsering to become the next of abbott Sera Mé monastery. He was enthroned as abbot on 17 June 2018 and is the 91st abbot of Sera Mé.
