Jigme Chöying Norbu

Jigme Chöying Norbu was a student of Dudjom Rinpoche from Tibet. Many times, he requested Dudjom Rinpoche to write teachings and practice texts, so one can often find his name in the colophon of many texts of the Dudjom Tersar.

According to Lama Tharchin Rinpoche: "In the colophon of many texts, Jigme Chöying Norbu was praised by Dudjom Rinpoche as 'my foremost disciple' or 'the best among all of my disciples'. One day, Dudjom Rinpoche revealed a terma with a prediction of Jigme Chöying Norbu's life and his attainment of the rainbow body at death. And Jigme Chöying Norbu did achieved rainbow body".[1]

Among his students is Tulku Tsephel.
