Prasenajit (Tib. གསལ་རྒྱལ་, Wyl. gsal rgyal) was, at the time of Buddha Shakyamuni, the king of Kosala, whose capital city was at Shravasti and which was the second largest and most powerful country after Magadha to the south-east.
