Oṃ svasti!

sönam yeshe tsok nyi chuter lé
From the accumulations of merit and wisdom, as vast as the ocean, “treasure of the sea”,

lek trung dampé kyechok dütsi ter
This supreme incarnation is born, and like the moon, “treasure of nectar”,

ten drö pendé kumü shyepa yi
That brings the water-lily to blossom, he spreads benefit and well-being for the Dharma and beings,

tub ten gyaltsen dzin shyin shyabten sol
And raises high the victory banner of the Buddha’s teachings; may his life be forever secure and long!

This long-life prayer for Tertön Sogyal Rinpoche, 'Gathering of Clouds of Blessings', was composed by Padmasambhava’s successor, the great Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoche, during the empowerments of the Rinchen Terdzö, which he conferred at Mindroling Monastery in India in the Earth Horse year of the sixteenth cycle.

ལེགས་འཁྲུངས་དམ་པའི་སྐྱེས་མཆོག་བདུད་རྩིའི་གཏེར། །
བསྟན་འགྲོའི་ཕན་བདེའི་ཀུ་མུད་བཞད་པ་ཡི། །
ཐུབ་བསྟན་རྒྱལ་མཚན་འཛིན་བཞིན་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །

ཅེས་གཏེར་སྟོན་བསོད་རྒྱལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ་འདེབས་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲིན་དཀྲིགས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་འདི་ཉིད།
