Prayer for the Long Life of Sogyal Rinpoche composed by Pewar Rinpoche

OM SHRI BIDZAYANTU
LAMA GURU TSÉ WANG RIGDZIN DANG
Om shri vijayantu! Through the compassion of the lamas, the vidyadharas with power over life,

YIDAM PAKMA YISHYIN KHORLO YI
The yidam deities and sublime Tara, the ‘Wish-Fulfilling Wheel’,

TUKJE LÉ LING SONAM GYALTSEN CHOK
May the life of Sonam Gyaltsen, incarnation of Tertön Lerab Lingpa,

SHYAP PÉ TAK TEN DZÉ TRIN PEL GYÉ SHOK
Remain forever firm, and may his enlightened activity increase and spread!

Having been requested by the Rigpa sangha to compose a long-life prayer for Sogyal Rinpoche, the supreme incarnation who brought the sun of Buddha’s teachings to the dark lands of the West, and feeling single-pointed faith himself, Pewar Chimé Dorje wrote this with deep devotion, on the 25th day, the time for the gathering of dakinis, in the third month during the Fire Pig year (12th May 2007). May virtue and goodness abound!
