I thought Amitayus was the sambhogakaya aspect and Amitabha the dharmakaya aspect. See entry for Amitayus. Maybe an explanation is needed as to why here Amitayus is considered dharmakaya. - Ts.

The dharmakaya, sambhogakaya and nirnanakaya of the different families are multiple: different tantras, sadhanas, termas can present them differently, based on the particular features of the teaching. Amitayus and Amitabha can be interchangeable, and considered the sames. At times their differences may be stressed. In the Tukdrup Barche Kunsel for example the Dharmakaya is Amitayus, the SK is Avalokiteshvara, and the NK is Guru Rinpoche and 12 manifestations. - Gyurmé
