This lojong text gives in thirty seven verses instructions on the way to follow the bodhisattva path. In terms of lojong texts, Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche said that the Eight verses of training the mind are the short version, the Thirty seven practices the medium, and the Bodhicharyavatara the long one.
