Three authentics (Tib. ཚད་ལྡན་གསུམ་, tseden sum, Wyl. tshad ldan gsum) — the three authentic factors which must come together in order for the introduction to the nature of mind to take place:

  1. the authentic blessings of the master (བླ་མ་བྱིན་རླབས་ཚད་ལྡན་, bla ma byin rlabs tshad ldan)
  2. authentic devotion of the student (སློབ་མ་མོས་གུས་ཚད་ལྡན་, slob ma mos gus tshad ldan)
