Empowerments possess three inconceivably profound characteristics (Tib. དབང་གི་ཟབ་གནད་བསམ་གྱིས་མི་ཁྱབ་པ་དང་ལྡན་པ་གསུམ་, wang gi zab né sam gyi mi khyabpa dang denpa sum, Wyl. dbang gi zab gnad bsam gyis mi khyab pa dang ldan pa gsum) : they

They purify us of attachments to the three worlds of desire, form and formlessness, perfect the qualities of the three kayas in us and mature in us the wisdom of clear light.[1]
