The twenty views of the transitory collection are as follows:

There are five aggregates: the aggregates of

  • form,
  • sensation,
  • perception,
  • formation and
  • consciousness.

For the first, form, there are four possible wrong views of transitory collection:

  1. that form is the self
  2. that form and self possess one another
  3. that form is in the self
  4. that the self is in the form

When these four are associated with each of the aggregates there are twenty views of the transitory collection.
