Two types of instant

The two types of instant (Wyl. skad cig gnyis) are:

1. the instant of completion of an action (Wyl. bya rdzogs kyi skad cig ma) and
2. the ultimately shortest instant of time (Wyl. dus mtha’i skad cig ma).
