Vashpa (Skt. Vāṣpa or Dasabala Kasyapa; Pali Vappa; Tib. རླངས་པ་, langpa, Wyl. rlang pa), was one of the five ascetics who practised austerities for six years with Shakyamuni Buddha before his enlightenment.
