As it belongs to the revelation known as the Seven Profound Cycles, it is also known as the Seven Profound Cycles Chronicle (zab bdun bka' thang). According to Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche, it is notable for its detailed description of Guru Rinpoche's stay in Kham, which is not to be found in other chronicles.[1]
