Dzogchen Pönlop Rinpoche (Wyl. rdzogs chen dpon slob) Karma Sungrap Ngedon Tenpa Gyaltsen - The first Dzogchen Pönlop Rinpoche, Namkha Ösel, was one of the three principal founders of the Rudam Dzogchen Monastery in Kham Derge, East Tibet, and his successive incarnations have been intimately connected with the development of the Dzogchen Monastery and the lives of the Dzogchen Rinpoches.

The present, Seventh incarnation of Dzogchen Pönlop Rinpoche was born at Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim, in 1965, and was immediately recognised by His Holiness the Sixteenth Gyalwa Karmapa.
