Four stages of approach and accomplishment

  1. approach (Tib. nyenpa)
  2. intimate or close approach
  3. accomplishment (Tib. drubpa)
  4. great accomplishment (Tib. drupchen)

These can be related to the four visualizations for mantra recitation.
