1. The Excellence of [[Bodhichitta]]<br>
*Chapters 1, 2 and 3 are designed to stimulate the dawning of bodhichitta in the mind.
2. Confession<br>
*Chapter 4, 5 and 6 give instructions on how to prevent bodhichitta from being dissipated.
3. Commitment/Full Acceptance<br>
*Chapters 7, 8 and 9 give the means by which bodhichitta may be made to increase further and further.
4. Carefulness/Conscientiousness<br>
*And the 10th chapter is a concluding prayer of dedication.
