Eight qualities of pure water

Pure water is said to be endowed with eight qualities: (1) crystal clarity, (2) coolness, (3) sweetness, (4) lightness and (5) softness; it is (6) soothing to the stomach, (7) free of impurities, and (8) clears the throat.
