The five king sutras are,
- The sutra of Samantabhadra's Aspiration for Good Actions (Tib. Zangchö Mönlam)
- The sutra of purification of Vajra Vidharana (Tib. Dorje Namjom)
- The heart sutra (Tib. sherab nyingpo)
- The sutra of the meditation on the wisdom of the moment of death (Tib. daka yeshe)
- The sutra of the confession of faults (Tib. tung shakpa).
