Kanthaka (Skt., Pali Kaṇṭhaka; Tib. བསྔགས་ལྡན་, Wyl. bsngags ldan) — the horse of Gautama Siddhartha. It is recalled that when Siddhartha renounced the world and left the palace, the horse died of grief.
