Rumtek Monastery

Rumtek Monastery - The seat of His Holiness the Karmapa in exile. It was constructed above the old Rumtek Monastery, Karma Tupten Chöling in East Sikkim. The monastery was inaugurated on the first day of the first month of the Fire Horse year (1966).
