The Array of Virtues of Manjushri’s Buddha Realm (Skt. Mañjuśrībuddhakṣetraguṇavyūha; Tib. འཇམ་དཔལ་གྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་གི་ཡོན་ཏན་བཀོད་པ།, [[Wyl. ’jam dpal gyi sangs rgyas kyi zhing gi yon tan bkod pa) is a sutra that belongs to the Heap of Jewels section of the Dergé Kangyur. In this sutra, the Buddha Shakyamuni explains the connection between the bodhisattvas’ aspirations and the virtues of their future buddha realms. He describes the various qualities that help bodhisattvas bring their aspirations to fulfilment. After bodhisattvas arrive from all directions to hear his teachings on the virtues of the buddha realms, the Buddha Shakyamuni recounts the story of how Manjushri first engendered the mind set on awakening. Finally, the Buddha reveals the extraordinary nature of Manjushri’s bodhisattva aspirations, and how they will contribute to the exceptional qualities of his future buddha realm. [1]
