Three secrets (Skt. triguhya; Tib. གསང་བ་གསུམ་, sangwa sum; Wyl. gsang ba gsum) — in Vajrayana, the three doors of a human being are considered to be, in essence, the three secrets:

  • the secret of the body (Tib. སྐུའི་གསང་བ་, Wyl. sku'i gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the nirmanakaya
  • the secret of the speech (Tib. གསུང་གི་གསང་བ་, Wyl. gsung gi gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the sambhogakaya
  • the secret of the mind (Tib. ཐུགས་ཀྱི་གསང་བ་, Wyl. thugs kyi gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the dharmakaya
