  1. Bari Lotsawa is the only master who was not part of the Khön family in the lineage of throneholders of the Sakya school.
  2. The holder of the Sakya throne from 1243 to 1264 was Sakya Pandita's regent.
  3. Chögyal Pakpa reigned twice: from 1265 to 1266, and from 1276 to 1280 after the reign of Chung Rinchen Gyaltsen.
  4. Shyithok Labrang was one of the earlier dynastic palaces which have now disappeared.
