Vasishtha (Pali: Vāseṭṭha, Skt. Vasiṣṭha; Tib. གནས་འཇོག, [[Wyl. gnas ’jog) is the name of one of the great sages of ancient India; one of the composers of the Vedic hymns. In Pali sources, a figure named Vasettha also appears as a young brahmin. [1]
