Sampa Lhundrupma

Sampa Lhundrupma (Tib. བསམ་པ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་མ་, Wyl. bsam pa lhun grub ma), The Prayer to Guru Rinpoche That Spontaneously Fulfills All Wishes, is a prayer that forms the seventh chapter of Le'u Dünma. It was given to the prince Mutri Tsenpo, the King of Gungthang, and son of King Trisong Detsen, by Padmasambhava as he was leaving for the land of the rakshasa ogres in the southwest.

  • Guru Mighty King of Wealth Gods, against famine & deprivation
  • Guru Powerful King of Yidams, for the transmission of the terma treasures
  • Guru King Who Fulfils the Hopes of the Practitioner, for travel
  • Guru Sovereign of the Warrior Gings, for protection against wild animals
  • Guru Victorious Master over the Four Elements, against disruption in the elements
  • Guru Mighty Exorciser of Evil Spirits, against robbery
  • Guru Vajra Armour, against assailants
  • Guru Purifier of the Pain of Rebirth, for the moment of death
  • Guru Conqueror over the Delusion of the Bardo, for the bardo
  • Guru Dispeller of th Suffering of Dying, against mental distress
  • Guru Refuge of the Six Classes of Beings, against suffering in the world at large
