The three marks of existence (Skt. trilaksaṇa; Wyl. phyag rgya gsum) designate the three characteristics of all conditioned phenomena. They are:
- impermanence (Skt. anitya)
- suffering (Skt. duhkha)
- selflessness (Skt. anātman)
They can be found in the Pali Canon[1]
