Bienvenue ! --Sébastien 08:23, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Thanks--Yeshedorje 08:38, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

When you edit or create an article, make sure:

  • the Tibetan terms are spelt the same way as in other articles
  • the other articles you are creating links for, do not already exists, with a different spelling maybe
  • each external article is only linked once, on its first occurrence

--Sébastien 19:06, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

For Dudjom Rinpoche's previous incarnations and following incarnations, it would be better to create a separate article, in the category of incarnations lines. See this one for example: http://www.rigpawiki.org/index.php?title=Dzogchen_Rinpoche_Incarnation_Line Otherwise, it makes the article really long, plus lists break the flow of the article. Also, for every master/teacher you mention in the list, there should be no description, or very, very short, because readers can find more details in the main articles for those masters/teachers. --Sébastien 19:18, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

OK, thanks for the advice. I need your feedback to improve! --Yeshedorje 19:23, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Created DT, DT masters and DT teachers categories, so you can start adding them to the bottom of your pages. --Sébastien 19:20, 20 April 2014 (UTC) I tried my best to put categories. Hope it is rightly done. http://www.rigpawiki.org/index.php?title=Category:Dudjom_Tersar --Yeshedorje 21:04, 20 April 2014 (UTC) The distinction for 'master' and 'teacher' categories has been defined in the following way:

  • Masters: who lived and taught mainly before 1959.
  • Teachers: teachers of recent times, who lived and taught after 1959.

It's a bit tricky for some masters who went into exile, but by looking at different masters, you can get a feel of how these 2 categories work. Whenever a teacher, even who was born and taught in Tibet, went into exile, and taught in the West would fall in the contemporary teachers categories. For ex. JKCL is categorized as master, but Dudjom R is categorized as teacher... Also, no need to add DT category to a master if you already added him in DT master or DT teacher categories, because he will automatically be placed in there. With the exception of Dudjom Lingpa and Dudjom Rinpoche who are at the origin of the DT. --Sébastien 07:45, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

Understood, and quite clear. I made those change: http://www.rigpawiki.org/index.php?title=Category:Dudjom_Tersar And removed the category DT for all Masters and Teachers, except for Dudjom Lingpa and Dudjom Rinpoche. --Yeshedorje 09:44, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

Great work! When you include links to websites it's best to describe them and 'hide' the actual address. The 'code' is: [address_space_description] For example: Tulku Orgyen Zangpo Rinpoche speaks about the life of Khandro Tare Lhamo on YouTube --Sébastien 12:15, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

You can also tick the box 'this is a minor edit' before saving your changes when they are minor (like corrections to a category for example, or correcting typos, etc.); this helps us check what is most important. Please also check all the discussion pages for the articles you created/changed recently; I have left some comments there. --Sébastien 12:57, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi, you keep adding DT category to all these teachers and masters... Maybe just a cut and paste mistake?--Sébastien 07:50, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Oups... Cut/paste late evening error. I made the corrections, thanks. --Yeshedorje 10:03, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

oh, just rediscovered this page... Editorial Guidelines‎--Sébastien 13:37, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi Yeshe, please provide references for stating that Akhyuk Rinpoche attained rainbow body. Otherwise, we cannot add him to the list. thanks, --Sébastien 09:56, 24 October 2014 (UTC) Here are two references (with texts and image): http://www.thenon2.com/lama-achuk-rinpoche http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=4849

Yeshedorje 10:53, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

Cool, please add as referecnes to rainbow body page. thanks, --Sébastien 10:51, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi, for the Garland of Jewels page, it would be better to keep the exact names/spelling from the book. And then if you want to link to existing pages on wiki, to use redirects like name in book> thanks! --Sébastien 08:28, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

OK, so I will soon become a living masters'name synonymous dictionnary ;-) I have never used up to now redirect code, but I will learn this. --Yeshedorje 09:03, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
