He taught just like Öntö Khyenrab Chökyi Özer, who, it is said, taught exactly like [[Khenpo Shenga]]. He spent many years in prison, were he was tortured, but he he taught his follow inmates whenever he had an opportunity. He composed a commentary on the ninth chapter of the ''[[Bodhicharyavatara]]''.
