Khenpo Lekshé Jorden

Khenpo Lekshé Jorden (Tib. མཁན་པོ་ལེགས་བཤད་འབྱོར་ལྡན་, Wyl. mkhan po legs bshad 'byor ldan) (b. 19th c.-d. 20th c.) — an important khenpo from Katok Monastery. He was one of those who requested Tulku Tsullo to write the biography of Tertön Sogyal, which was completed in 1942. He was also one of those to request Khenpo Ngakchung to write his autobiography. He was a teacher of Chatral Rinpoche and gave many empowerments and transmissions, including Tendrel Nyesel, to Penor Rinpoche.

His Holiness Katog Lhoga Rinpoche (Tubten Tsultrim Lodrö Tenpe'i Gyamtsen Palzangpo) born in Tibet in 1952 (16th Water Dragon year) was regonised by Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö as the reincarnation of Khenpo Lekshe Jorden[1] and enthroned in 1990 as the 84th supreme throne holder of Katok Monastery.
