Tsogkhang Rinpoche was a great disciple of Dudjom Lingpa. He visited Degyal Rinpoche in Western Tibet, in the area of Mount Kalaish, and stayed with him for one year. Then, he spent the following year in the drikung kagyu monastery of Gyangdrak before settling in Lemi Chay.
